TradeStation Account Registration, Download & Installation Tutorial

This guide explains how to register a TradeStation account, download the platform, and install it on Windows or a Trading VPS. Follow the step-by-step instructions to get started quickly and efficiently.

Create a TradeStation Account

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

TradeStation homepage with the Sign Up option.

Open the official TradeStation website.

Select New User and click Sign Up to begin the account registration process.

First Name
Last Name
Email Address
Phone Number
Date of Birth

Review the information and click Next.

Configure your account details:

Create a Username
Create a Password
Select Security Questions if required
Click Next to continue.

Scan the QR code with your authenticator application and enter the verification code.

Upload the required identity verification documents:

Government-issued ID

Proof of Address (if requested)

Once submitted successfully, you will see a confirmation message indicating that your application has been received.

Wait for TradeStation to review your application. You will receive an approval email once the account has been verified.

2. Download TradeStation Platform

Login to the TradeStation Client Hub.
Go to the Downloads or TradeStation Desktop section.
Download the latest TradeStation Desktop Installer.
Save the Installer file once the download is complete.

3. Install TradeStation

Double-click the downloaded Installer file.
Select Yes when the User Account Control (UAC) message appears.
Click Next when the Installation Wizard opens.
Accept the License Agreement.
Select the Install Location and click Install.
Click Finish when the installation is complete.

Launch TradeStation from your desktop.
Login with your Username and Password.
Complete Security Verification or Device Registration if necessary.
Once you have successfully logged in, you will see the Trading Dashboard.

Those who already have an account can log in and download.
