# How to Upload a NinjaTrader Workspace from Local PC to VPS (Step-by-Step Guide)

| Learn how to easily transfer your NinjaTrader workspace from your local computer to your VPS in just a few minutes. This step-by-step guide explains where to find the workspace file, how to upload it, and how to open it on your VPS.


### 1. Locate the Workspace File on Your Local PC

* Open **File Explorer** on your computer.

Press **Windows + E** — and the **File Explorer** will open instantly!


* Go to the **following folder** path:

**Documents\NinjaTrader 8\workspaces**


* You’ll **see one** or **more files** with the** .xml extension** (**e.g., MyWorkspace.xml**).
* These are your** NinjaTrader workspaces.**
* Copy **NinjaTrader workspaces.**

### 2 . Log in to your VPS

**Move** the** Copy file** to:


**Documents\NinjaTrader 8\workspaces**

**Load** the **Workspace on** the **VPS**:

* Open **NinjaTrader 8** on your **VPS**.
* From the** top menu**, go to Workspaces → Open Workspace.
* **Select** your **uploaded workspace** (e.g., MyWorkspace).
* **Done**! The **workspace** will now** open** exactly as it** looked** on your** local PC**.

* **Right click** and **click paste**
