# How to Save/Load your Workspaces in NinjaTrader

| Workspaces in NinjaTrader are customizable layouts that save the arrangement of all your trading tools, charts, indicators, and windows. They act as a way to organize and manage your trading environment, making it easier to switch between different setups depending on your needs.


1. To save the workspace you’ve been working on- first step is to click on the **WORKSPACES tab**:

2. Here on this little window- you can see which workspace is **active at the moment**:

3. Then **to save** the workspace you’ve been working on- **click "new"**:

4. Then you’d have an option **to name it**. Make sure you name it after something you can easily remember connected to the workspace like we named it "${color}[#19e61d](USD)", so you can access it next time you open your NinjaTrader App:

5. When you open the app next time- you’ll be able to choose from your **saved workspaces**, which one you want to **load**:
