How to Register a Robinhood Account: Step-by-Step Guide

1 . Go to the Robinhood website : https://robinhood.com/us/en/

1. Log In / Sign Up

If you are a new user:

• Click - Sign Up
• Confirm your region
• Enter your first name and last name.
• Enter your Email + Password
• Click continue
• Get updates on new features and rewards

2. Recommendation :

• It is best to tap "Not now" (fast signup).

3. Verify your phone number.

• After reaching the “Phone” step, enter your phone number.
• Select the correct country code (e.g. US +1).
• Enter the phone number and click the “Send code” button.
• A verification code will be sent to your phone.
• Use that code in the next step to complete the verification.

4. Enter Verification Code

• Enter the verification code received on your phone here.
• The code is usually 6 digits long.
• If you do not receive the code, you can click “Resend code” to resend it.
• After entering the code correctly, click the “Continue” button.

5. Enter Your Address

Now you need to provide your Residential Address. Be sure to use your current address here. P.O. Boxes are generally not accepted.

Information to be provided:

• Street Address
• Apartment / Suite (Optional)
• City
• State
• ZIP Code

• After filling in all the information correctly, click on the “Continue” button.

6. Your Robinhood Account

• Enter your active email address in the Email Address field.
• Enter a unique username of 6–30 characters in the Username box.
• Create a strong password of at least 10 characters in the Password box.
• After filling in all the information correctly, click the Continue button below.

Notes:

The email address must be verifiable.

Using uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters in the password increases security.

If the information is incorrect, it may be difficult to proceed to the next step.

6. Verify Email

• A verification email will be sent to the email address you provided.
• Open your email inbox and click on the “Verify Your Email” or verification link.
• Once the email verification is complete, return to the Robinhood page.
• Then click on the green “I’ve verified my email” button.

Tips:

If you don’t receive the email, check your Spam/Junk folder.

If necessary, you can click “resend the email” to send a new verification email.

7. Robinhood Account Setup Complete

• Congratulations! Your Robinhood account has been successfully created.

Now you can access various features from the dashboard, such as:

• Investing – Trading stocks or ETF
• Crypto – Buying/Selling Cryptocurrencies
• Transfers – Depositing or withdrawing money
• Rewards – Viewing rewards or offers

Click the green “Explore Robinhood” button below to get started.

• To start trading, you will first need to add funds to your account.
• To do this, use the “Add funds” option on the right side.
