How to connect your ubuntu vps from android via ssh

In today's tutorial, I will show you how to easily connect to your Ubuntu VPS using SSH using your Android phone. In just a few minutes, you will be able to fully control your VPS from your mobile.



1. Install SSH App




1 .First install an SSH app from the Play Store.



Download:


  • Android App : Connectbot / Termius, and more.







2. Open the App




  • After installation:
  • Open the app
  • Tap New Host or + Add Connection




  • New Host






3. Enter Your VPS Information




  • Fill in the following details:



Host

Your VPS IP Address

Username

root

Password

Your VPS Password

Port

22


Example:


IP Address

123.123.123.123

Username

root

Password

your password

Port

22



  • Click Show advanced Options






  • And Click Add host






  • Click ssh





4. When you connect to your VPS for the first time via SSH, you may receive a message like this




”Are you sure you want to continue connecting?”



This is a completely normal security verification.



Here:



  • Press Yes
  • The first time you connect to your VPS via SSH, you will see this Host Key Verification message.
  • Here you just need to click “Yes”.
  • Then it will save the fingerprint of the VPS and ask for the password.
  • Then enter your VPS password.







  • Click Yes





6. Successful login


root@ubuntu:~#





Now you can use the VPS command.
