How to connect your ubuntu vps from android via ssh
In today's tutorial, I will show you how to easily connect to your Ubuntu VPS using SSH using your Android phone. In just a few minutes, you will be able to fully control your VPS from your mobile.
1. Install SSH App
1 .First install an SSH app from the Play Store.
Download:
- Android App : Connectbot / Termius, and more.

2. Open the App
- After installation:
- Open the app
- Tap New Host or + Add Connection

- New Host

3. Enter Your VPS Information
- Fill in the following details:
Host | Your VPS IP Address |
Username | root |
Password | Your VPS Password |
Port | 22 |
Example:
IP Address | 123.123.123.123 |
Username | root |
Password | your password |
Port | 22 |
- Click Show advanced Options

- And Click Add host

- Click ssh

4. When you connect to your VPS for the first time via SSH, you may receive a message like this
”Are you sure you want to continue connecting?”
This is a completely normal security verification.
Here:
- Press Yes
- The first time you connect to your VPS via SSH, you will see this Host Key Verification message.
- Here you just need to click “Yes”.
- Then it will save the fingerprint of the VPS and ask for the password.
- Then enter your VPS password.

- Click Yes

6. Successful login
root@ubuntu:~#
