# How to connect your ubuntu vps from android via ssh

| In today's tutorial, I will show you how to easily connect to your Ubuntu VPS using SSH using your Android phone. In just a few minutes, you will be able to fully control your VPS from your mobile.


### 1. Install SSH App



### 1 .First install an SSH app from the Play Store.


Download:

* Android App : Connectbot / Termius, and more.

### 2. Open the App



* After installation:


* **Open the app
**

* Tap New Host or + Add Connection

* New Host

### 3.  Enter Your VPS Information



* Fill in the following details:  


| **Host** | Your VPS IP Address |
| Username | root |
| Password | Your VPS Password |
| Port | 22 |

Example:

| IP Address | 123.123.123.123 |
| Username | root |
| Password | your password |
| Port | 22 |


* Click Show advanced Options

* And Click Add host

* Click ssh

### 4. When you connect to your VPS for the first time via SSH, you may receive a message like this



”Are you sure you want to continue connecting?”


This is a completely normal security verification.


Here:


* Press **Yes**
* The first time you connect to your VPS via SSH, you will see this Host Key Verification message.

* Here you just need to click “Yes”.

* Then it will save the fingerprint of the VPS and ask for the password.

* Then enter your VPS password.

* Click Yes

### 6. Successful login 

root@ubuntu:~#
